Marriott’s Linnartz, Best Western’s Dowling Among Most Influential CMOs

    Stephanie Linnartz, executive vice president and chief marketing and commercial officer at Marriott International, and Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western International, were listed among the most influential CMOs in the world in the Forbes/Appinion CMO Influence Study. Linnartz was ranked 16th and Dowling was ranked 27th in the third annual study, which evaluates the highest-ranking marketing officers from the Forbes Global 500 Largest Companies list. The honorees include individuals from top global brands, including Apple, Ralph Lauren, and General Motors. Linnartz and Dowling were the only two hotel marketing leaders on this year’s list.
