Uptown Suites Opens First Property in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas—Uptown Suites has announced the opening of its fifth extended-stay property, located outside of Austin in Round Rock, Texas. This location marks the first property in Texas, with another one opening in March. Uptown Suites will double its footprint this year with another extended-stay property located closer to downtown Austin and in the greater Denver and Washington, D.C., metros.

This new, pet-friendly hotel has 129 rooms with free WiFi, 43″ Smart HDTVs, and rapid-charging USB ports to help guests stay connected during their stay. An in-room kitchen including a full-size refrigerator, microwave, two burner-stovetop, and Keurig coffee maker. Uptown’s community amenities include on-demand grocery delivery, 24/7 gym, on-site guest laundry, and an electric car charging station. The brand offers monthly, weekly, or nightly rates.

Uptown Suites’ CEO, Jon Pertchik, emphasized that being connected to the community is a key part of the value proposition at Uptown Suites. “Not only do we look forward to serving corporate clients, but we also intend to play a key role in the community. We want locals to think of us as the place they can stay when they’re moving, displaced from their homes, or just need to get away.
