Refinery Hotel Announces Wellness Campaign

Refinery Hotel has announced its 2016 wellness campaign, “Journey Joyfully,” with Wellthily, an experiential design firm that seamlessly blends wellness and travel. As the first-ever New York City property to produce a sequence of healthy programming with Wellthily, starting in November 2014, Refinery Hotel is proud to enhance their guests’ well-being and enable health while traveling by extending the latest in-room technology, fitness classes, and innovative amenities through the launch of in-room Wellthily tablets powered by Zappos.com, in-room Wellthily healthy travel kits, and “Resolutions Refined,” the hotel’s third Wellth Series.

Beginning in this month, Refinery Hotel will provide Wellthily tablets powered by Zappos.com in select guestrooms, offering visitors a menu of high performance and versatile Under Armour workout apparel for purchase, curated healthy neighborhood guides, wellth perks & discounts to local healthy hotspots, and on-demand meditations and workouts. A Wellthily healthy travel kit will also be available for purchase through the tablets, at a retail value of $55, consisting of offerings guests need to stay well while traveling. Contents of the kit include a sleep set, both a healthy and indulgent snack, essential oils, and other items to help travelers stay well on the go.

To coincide with the new in-room amenities, Refinery Hotel and Wellthily have planned a robust schedule of Wellness Weekends & Pop Ups throughout the month of January that will feature classes by the best instructors and studios in the NYC fitness scene such as Under Armour trainers and creators of Nu Fit, Muscle & Flow, and The Cyc Method Natalie Uhling, Shauna Harrison, and Keoni Hudoba, respectively. Classes will take place in the hotel’s sidewalk level event space, Hatbox, or Refinery Rooftop, the property’s seasonal rooftop venue. In addition to these pop-up fitness classes, guests are invited to partake in panel discussions led by influential figures in the industry such as Yahoo Health Editor-In-Chief Michele Promaulayko, Y7 Founder Sarah Levey, Greatist Founder Derek Flanzraich, Sweat Life Founder Aly Teich, Cyc Founder Alexandra Blodgett, Bari Founder Alexandra Bonetti, and more. Wellthily has partnered with like-minded wellth partners throughout the month to help spread the wellthy word including Yahoo Health, Greatist, The Sweat Life, and more. Guests are invited to spend the morning in the wellth lounge to enjoy healthy snacks, beauty bar, a kefir breakfast offering by Lifeway Foods and experience the first of its kind Blue Print lab featuring innovative cold pressed cocktails by juice maker Blue Print Cleanse.

Continuing through January 17th in Hatbox, Wellthily will partner with Andrea Fornarola Hunsberger, founder of New York’s top barre method studio Element’s Fitness, to launch the Fitness & Fashion Collective. The Pop Up will offer both morning and evening barre classes along with luxury retail curated by Susan Sandler of Pop Up Summer. The retail collection will include athleisure apparel, wellness, and travel focused retail available throughout the two-week period. Brands available for purchase include Lin Lomo, Tess Giberson, Bale & Batch, Indigo Jane, Arete, Lifestyle of Reverence, and more. Additionally, Wellthily will host influencer gatherings in the space throughout the Wellth Series.
