On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

SBE, a lifestyle hospitality company, has appointed Peter Chambers as chief information officer. Based in Miami, Fla., Chambers will oversee information technology strategy, as well as operations and data security programs.

Here’s a look at other notable comings and goings that took place this week:

Aparium Hotel Group’s Hewing Hotel has appointed Pablo Molinari as general manager. With over 20 years of industry experience, Molinari will oversee day-to-day operations and financial success of the hotel and its restaurant, Tullibee. Molinari comes from Hyatt Hotels, where he held positions around the world.

Montroy Andersen DeMarco, a N.Y. based design firm, has named Sara M. Agudelo as job captain. Agudelo most recently worked as junior architect at RMR Architecture.

Enchantment Group, an experiential hospitality management firm, has appointed Ahmad Ghemrawi as corporate vice president of finance. Prior to joining Enchantment Group, Ahmad was the regional director of finance for ONE Lodging Management, where he lead all financial aspects for 51 hotels.

Zaplox AB, an innovator of hotel mobile key services, has appointed Emma Dupont as sales director, North America. In this role, Dupont will aid the companies growth in the U.S. market.

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities has named Jim Holliday as regional director of sales. With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Holliday comes from the AAA Five Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where he served as director of markets.

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has named Regina Ortiz as director of sales and marketing at its property in Santa Fe, N.M., Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi. In this role, Ortiz will provide leadership to the inn’s sales team and will drive revenue. Ortiz comes from Two Roads Hospitality’s Inn and Spa at Loretto.

Marriott has appointed Jon Mathews as hotel manager of the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Mathews comes from the Fairmont Olympic in Seattle, where he was director of operations.

L.E. Hotels, a global hospitality brand, has appointed Bianca Porto Barga as vice president of account management. Barga most recently served as director of sales and revenue management for three properties under Paligroup Management.
