IHG to Pay Shareholders $1.5 Billion Following Hotel Sales

    After selling hotels in Paris and Hong Kong last year, InterContinental Hotels Group plans to reimburse shareholders with $1.5 billion in the form of a special dividend that will be paid in the second quarter. The company also revealed a 10 percent increase in its final dividend to 85 cents per share and announced that 2015 operating profit before one-time items increased 4 percent to $680 million.
