AAHOA President Fred Schwartz to Resign

After 18 years leading the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), President Fred Schwartz will be leaving to pursue new opportunities. AAHOA will soon begin a national search for the next AAHOA president, and Schwartz will likely stay with the association through the end of 2014. “Fred Schwartz has been the single most influential leader in AAHOA’s history. Much of what our association has achieved is directly related to his almost two decade’s worth of effort.” said AAHOA Chairman Pratik Patel in an announcement. “When he began as the president of AAHOA, we were relatively unknown in the lodging industry. Today our association is recognized as the most powerful voice among hotel owners. Fred will always be a special part of the AAHOA family, and we look forward to what the future holds for him.”
