Virgin Hotels Collection Forms Global Sales Team

MIAMI, Florida—Virgin Hotels Collection announced the formation of its global sales team. The introduction of the global sales team will continue Virgin Hotels Collection’s commitment to its trade partners and to increasing its worldwide footprint.

The formation of the global sales team at Virgin Hotels Collection brings executives from both Virgin Hotels and Virgin Limited Edition, combining their experience within an integrated sales team for operations and growth:

  • Maya Latinovic assumed the role of vice president of global sales. Latinovic has been with the brand since she was appointed vice president of global sales of Virgin Hotels in January 2022. With over 20 years of experience leading sales strategies at global brands, including EDITION Hotels and Preferred Hotels, Latinovic brings her knowledge and business acumen to her latest position. She will develop sales strategies and guide efforts across internal and cross-functional teams to drive business for the hotel portfolio.
  • The leisure leaders include Vanessa Rothery, who has been promoted to executive director of sales, EMEA & ASPAC following her two-decade tenure with Virgin Limited Edition; Shannon Byrne, who advances to the role of director of leisure sales, Americas, after joining Virgin Hotels as area director of travel industry sales, Americas in April 2022, following a career with Bvlgari Hotels; and Abigail Trangmar, director of sales, responsible for developing trade partnerships from within Virgin Atlantic.
  • Julia Grishkova is now Virgin Hotels Collection’s director of group sales, a position she most recently served at Virgin Hotels. Grishkova will leverage her global experience selling luxury for brands such as Four Seasons, Armani, and St. Regis to lead group sales across the brand-wide portfolio.
  • Peter Delia, who brings over a decade of sales experience from hospitality brands such as Marriott Luxury and The Ritz-Carlton, will continue to lead corporate and entertainment efforts across the portfolio as director of corporate and entertainment sales.
