Pacifica Hotels announced multiple new hires and promotions: Jeffrey Michael has been promoted to senior vice president of commercial strategy; Julie Aschidamini has been promoted to vice president of marketing; Walter De Leon has been hired as director of housekeeping at King Kamehameha Beach Resort; and Marc Ebuen has been hired as assistant general manager at The Redondo Beach Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

Commonwealth Hotels announced that Joe Cargo has been appointed general manager of the Aloft Knoxville West. Cargo brings over 20 years of experience to the position, having previously served as general manager of the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Knoxville West.

Acqualina Resort & Residences announced Nikolay Hotze as vice president and general manager of the Miami resort. Hotze was previously managing director and asset manager for a private investment organization.

L’Auberge Sedona announced the appointment of Ryan Swanson as executive chef. Swanson brings experience and knowledge of the area’s cuisine to the resort and its flagship restaurant, Cress on Oak Creek.

Rosewood Baha Mar announced the appointment of Alvaro Acebal as director of food and beverage. Acebal brings 24 years of experience to the role and will be responsible for developing experiences at the resort.

The Ojai Valley Inn announced the appointment of Jordan Pilarski as executive pastry chef. Pilarski will lead the pastry programs at Ojai Valley Inn’s flagship restaurant, Olivella, as well as its other culinary outlets.

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort announced the appointment of Terra Orndorff as the new director of wellness for its recently renovated spa. Orndorff brings new expertise to the spa, overseeing and implementing a comprehensive wellness program.

Epicurean Atlanta welcomed Felicia Lyn as the new director of entertainment and business travel sales. Lyn joins her new role to oversee global and local accounts while implementing revenue strategies across group and transient segments.

Assuming a newly created position, Rona Kay has been named vice president of operations for Carter Hospitality Group. Kay will supervise over 450 employees, overseeing management teams for its properties.

AJS Hotels announced the appointment of Michael Swasey as senior vice president of operations. Swasey joins AJS Hotels with three decades of experience and will work with various teams to manage operations and guest experiences.
