STR: Phoenix Reports Highest ADR and RevPAR Increases Over 2019

HENDERSONVILLE, Tennessee—U.S. hotel performance increased from the previous week, according to STR’s latest data through February 11, 2023.

Percentage change from comparable week in 2019:

Occupancy: 57.8 percent (down 8.7 percent)

ADR: $150.97 (up 13.4 percent)

RevPAR: $87.21 (up 3.6 percent)

While none of the Top 25 Markets saw an occupancy increase over 2019, Dallas came closest to its 2019 comparable (down 0.7 percent to 66.1 percent).

Helped by Super Bowl LVII, Phoenix reported the highest ADR (up 129.5 percent to $387.06) and RevPAR (up 114.3 percent to$300.09) increases over 2019.

The steepest RevPAR declines from 2019 were seen in San Francisco (down 55.9 percent to $116.00) and Seattle (down 24.1 percent to $78.84).
