On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

G6 Hospitality has named Mike Brower chief operating officer, effective immediately. A seasoned executive, he has served as executive vice president of operations for the G6 Hospitality brands since 2012. He formed and will continue to serve as the chairman for the Motel 6/Studio 6 Operations Committee.

Here is a look at more notable job moves that took place this week:

Wyndham Hotel Group has appointed Chip Ohlsson executive vice president and chief development officer, North America. This marks a reunion between Wyndham and Ohlsson, as he had previously spent 10 years of his career with Wyndham in various roles.

Charlene Nakamura has been named complex director of sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Waikiki. She most recently served as director of sales and marketing at the Royal Hawaiian.

Del Robinette has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing. Robinette previously held the position of regional director of sales and marketing for the company.

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has appointed Vicki Richards senior director of marketing for its UK Collection. She previously worked as senior director of sales for the UK Collection. She takes the place of Kristien Deleersnijder, who is now vice president of sales, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for Four Seasons.

Deborah Cerrato has been named corporate controller of Benchmark Hospitality International. She previously worked as director of finance/controller for Hilton Corporation.

Hilton Worldwide has announced four new appointments to its Asia Pacific leadership team. Ben George has been promoted to senior vice president, sales and revenue management, after previously serving as vice president, revenue management. Michael Slaton is the new vice president, finance. He previously was vice president, finance, global brands, and commercials services for the United States team. Rupert Hallam will serve as vice president of sales. He last held the position of regional director of sales, South East Asia for the company. Stephen Russell has been named vice president, operational effectiveness. Prior to this position, he was senior director, finance, pre-opening and growth delivery, Asia Pacific for the company.

The Inn at Hastings Park, located in Lexington, Mass., has named Anthony Mazzotta the executive chef of its restaurant, Artistry on the Green. Most recently, he served as sous chef at EVOO in Cambridge and executive chef at Lucca Back Bay.

Gemstone Hotels & Resorts, LLC has announced the appointment of Kevin Dowdell as regional director of sales and marketing for its New England resorts. Dowdell recently served as director of sales and marketing for Marriott Hotels & Resorts.

Benchmark Hospitality International has named Emily Smith director of development. Previously, she was director of investment and portfolio analysis and asset management for RLJ Lodging Trust of Bethesda, Maryland.
