After opening her first boutique hotel in 1982, Yvonne Lembi-Detert has stepped down as chief executive officer and president of Personality Hotels and Engage Hospitality. Former chief operating officer David Chin succeeded her in May. He has been with the company since 2006.

Mark Becker has been named area vice president and general manager of Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. He most recently was general manager at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
AccorHotels has appointed Christophe Alaux chief executive officer of HotelServices of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, effective immediately. He will replace Roland de Bonadona. He has requested the appointment of Dominique Colliat as chief operating officer for the region. He previously was chief executive officer of hotel services for France.
HHM has named David McCaslin executive vice president. An industry veteran of 42 years, he most recently served as president of Northwood Hospitality.
Benchmark Hospitality International has named Sandra Stockman director of human resources for The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. She previously worked as director of human resources for Billabong USA/Burleigh Point, Ltd.
Steve Shalit, general manager of Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center and The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center, has announced his retirement. With 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he spent 25 years as a general manager for Starwood properties and two years with Trump International Las Vegas. A new manager will begin July 21.
Hospitality Ventures Management Group has named Jason Kern the new general manager of The Shores Resort & Spa in Florida. He has been director of sales for the property since 2012.
Bob Frear has been appointed director of sales and marketing at Montage Hotels and Resorts’ first Pendry Hotels property, Pendry San Diego. He first joined Montage in 2002, and most recently served as director of brand sales.
Bill Facella has joined The Broadmoor as director of conference planning. He previously held the director of convention services position at Music City Center in Nashville.
Trump Hotel Collection has appointed Jean-Luc Barone the general manager of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto. The property’s former general manager, Mickael C. Damelincourt, will move to Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C. Barone previously worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Delta Hotels.
