Blossom and Felt Bar & Lounge are new experiences set to open Dec. 8 inside the new MGM National Harbor. These two venues will redefine high-class nightlife with their mixology, edge, and design.
Sitting in the center of the casino is Blossom, a 24-hour venue set in gorgeous scenery that evokes a soft, fresh feel, akin to the cherry blossoms that bloom along the Potomac River. Floral architectural light fixtures that float over the area give off a magnolia glow and magenta couches offer consummate comfort. Blossom is an experience that captivates the five senses.
The uniquely-designed, 3,000-square-foot space will offer respite from the controlled chaos of the casino while still managing to let you stay in the action with six blackjack tables and eight high-definition TV’s, giving guests a chance to catch the big game.
Felt Bar & Lounge features views of the surrounding area. Set in black and gold hues, Felt offers both an indoor and outdoor experience that is unmatched in Maryland. White marble countertops, black and white tile floor, and wide seating areas offers a slightly masculine feel, while the modern pendulum lighting fixtures hover over the bar that displays an array of top shelf spirits.
Felt also features a 1,000-square-foot outdoor patio that provides a view of the flowing Potomac, old town Alexandria, and parts of Washington, D.C. An outdoor fire pit helps to create a serene spirit in an otherwise nonstop casino.
