Boca Raton, Fla.—Waramaug LS Hotels announced the completion of the $1.5 million renovation of the Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette Airport in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The extensive upgrades adding new carpet, paint accent wall vinyl, closet doors, and a new seating package to all guestrooms. The guest bathrooms were freshly painted, and all the king rooms and half of the queen rooms received new showers with glass doors added. The remainder of the rooms had cast iron tubs installed. The public areas have new soft goods and an upholstered seating package, along with new lighting, window treatments, paint, and carpet for the corridors. The Litt Group, which oversaw the renovation process, also expanded the hotel’s 450-square-foot fitness center and resealed and striped the parking area.
“The recent renovation allows us to maximize the hotel’s airport location while enhancing the overall guest experience,” Rae Salling, Waramaug Hospitality’s senior vice president of asset management, says. The Courtyard is located near Lafayette Regional Airport and the University of Louisiana’s Lafayette campus. It also offers convenient access to the Cajundome, a multi-purpose facility that showcases concert, family shows, sporting events, and conventions.
