KAUAI, Hawaii—Waimea Plantation Cottages has announced the addition of Gregg Enright to its leadership team as the new general manager. Enright comes to this position with more than 30 years of experience on all four of the major Hawaiian islands. As general manager, Enright will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations including: guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finances, team building, and staff development.

Enright received his start in hospitality at the young age of 14 and worked his way up to manager at a half-way house on a golf course. From there he took a short detour to learn about fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Enright started his official hospitality career in food and beverage in Manhattan before transitioning into management. Enright quickly realized he had a passion for creating a dynamic team that fits each member into the right leadership role while ensuing the delivery of desired results. He has spent the last 27 years operating eight different resorts for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts in Hawaii.
“Having lived and worked in Hawaii since I was 26 years old, I’m looking forward to representing a property that really embraces the history of the island,” said Enright. “Waimea Plantation Cottages is a hidden gem and I’m looking forward to expanding its brand recognition in both the local and national hospitality space.”
