PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island—TPG Hotels & Resorts announced the renovation of the Renaissance Boca Raton hotel, located in Boca Raton, Florida. The property encompasses 15,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces and began its exterior and interior property renovation last November.
“We’ve taken a whole new approach with the design direction of this property to reflect the renaissance that we see happening in the neighborhood,” said Ben Perelmuter, president, TPG Hotels & Resorts. “The property is in the heart of the Boca Raton business district and provides business and leisure travelers alike a property that allows them to relax and focus on the true purpose of their trip while enjoying all that Boca Raton and South Florida have to offer.”
The renovation focused on modernizing the guestrooms, guest corridors, meeting space, club lounge, fitness center, and public spaces, along with the addition of a new 30,000 square foot resort-style pool deck with a waterfall backdrop, a WET by Meat Market tiki bar to service pool and cabana guests.
The 189-room property offers access to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Palm Beach International Airport. It provides guests access to Mizner Park, Town Center Mall, Florida Atlantic University, and Lynn University, along with beaches and golf courses. The Renaissance Boca Raton is near the Brightline Boca Raton station, allowing guests and visitors who prefer to commute easy transportation to Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando.
The new Meat Market restaurant, a steakhouse, will operate the restaurant, along with banquets and catering for the property. This restaurant concept has had a presence for nearly 15 years with other locations in Florida, including Miami Beach, Palm Beach, and Tampa.
