Sonder Holdings Inc. announced the appointment of Tom Buoy as executive vice president and chief commercial officer. Buoy resigned from Sonder’s Board of Directors and transitioned into the newly created position.

Hotel Van Zandt in Austin, Texas, has appointed Christopher Guse as general manager. Guse joins the property from Sage Hospitality Group’s Sheraton Austin, where he served as general manager since 2021.

Valerie Cooper has been appointed general manager of the recently renovated Hilton Shreveport. Cooper joins the property from the Embassy Suites Santa Ana, where she served as general manager.

Waldorf Astoria Chicago announced the appointment of Tamas Vago as general manager. Since joining the property team this fall, he has overseen guest experience and hotel operations for the 214-room property.

The Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, owned by Taconic Capital Advisors and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, announced the appointment of Justin Hart as general manager to lead the property.

The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa announced the appointment of Chris Carriker to the position of chef de cuisine. With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Carriker will oversee operations for Piper, the property’s signature restaurant.

Trilith Guesthouse announced the appointment of Thomas Parker as executive chef. Parker will oversee all culinary operations for the hotel, including the signature restaurant Prologue Dining & Drinks, and the rooftop Oliver’s Twist Bar & View.

Sensei has appointed Ángel Redondo as vice president of development, where he will work with the brand’s leadership team for continued growth and business opportunities. He was most recently vice president of development for Staypineapple Hotels.
