Timbers Company appointed Darrin Griffin as chief development officer. In his new role, Griffin is responsible for identifying opportunities aligned with the brand’s expansion goals and overseeing the company’s current expansion.

Nobu Hotel Atlanta appointed Terry Buchholz as general manager. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Buchholz will oversee the property’s daily operations, sales and marketing, and more.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills promoted Maykel Escalona to hotel manager, marking his second year with the property. Escalona will oversee all hotel operations to focus on guest experience and expectations.

Marriott Marquis Houston named Joseph Graffeo as executive chef, charged with managing the hotel’s eateries. Graffeo will also oversee the property’s limited edition dining experiences and in-room dining.


The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel, promoted Fantasy Greene as director of sales and marketing. Greene will oversee sales and marking initiatives for the property, bringing over two decades of experience to the role.

106 Jefferson, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, appointed Laura Morgan as director of sales and marketing. Morgan will work cross-departmentally to plan and promote the hotel within the local community and nationally.

Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve welcomed Viorcia Coman as director of Spa Botánico. Coman brings over 20 years of experience working in luxury spas to the role, overseeing operations and developing new offerings.

Pacifica Hotels announced new hires and promotions: Chris Lee has been hired as hotel manager at Hotel Belamar; Golda Escalante has been hired as general manager at The Wayfarer SLO, Tapestry Collection by Hilton; June Kuglin has been hired as general manager at The Riviera Beach House; Harrison Hardin has been promoted to general manager at Quality Inn & Suites Hermosa Beach; Nicole Dichirico has been hired as assistant general manager at Sandcasle Hotel on the Beach; Laura Mascari has been hired as sales manager at King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort; and Scott Ragosta has been hired as regional director of sales at Pacifica Hotels.
