BWH Hotels has appointed Rod Munro to the role of managing director of operations for Australia and New Zealand. Munro will focus on expanding the brand’s presence in the region and fostering growth for the company.

CBRE announced James Millon has been named president of U.S. debt and structured finance. Millon will steer CBRE’s U.S. DSF business and will be responsible for expanding the firm’s DSF capabilities nationwide.

Rick Corcoran has been named general manager of the Baccarat Hotel New York. In this role, Corcoran oversees the day-to-day operation of the flagship hotel. Corcoran was previously general manager of 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.

AC Hotel Irvine introduced Yuni Hunter as general manager. In this role, Hunter will oversee and manage the daily operations of the property and brings over 16 years of experience to her new role.

Stanley Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection, announced the appointment of Laura McIver as general manager. McIver has 15 years of experience, most recently serving as general manager for Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa.

Margaritaville Hotel San Diego Gaslamp Quarter announced the appointment of Jim Hollister as general manager. With a background in hospitality and operations, Hollister will oversee and manage hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Hotel Crescent Court announced the appointment of Shawn Nayyar as general manager. Nayyar brings more than 30 years of experience to the hotel and will focus on growing strategic goals and overseeing operations.

Terranea Resort has named Robert Austin its new vice president of finance. Austin will play a role in the creation, execution, and refinement of the resort’s financial strategies, working toward the property’s goals.

Sage Hospitality Group announced Renee Wriedt is serving as area director of sales and marketing, overseeing The Crawford Hotel, Denver Union Station, and The Oxford Hotel. Wriedt was previously director of sales and marketing for the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center.

Hotel Wailea announced the appointment of Ryan Cruz as executive chef. The new title is a promotion for Cruz, who previously held the position of chef de cuisine since January 2023. Cruz will oversee culinary operations for the property’s food and beverage outlets.

Thompson San Antonio—Riverwalk announced the appointment of David Arciniega as executive chef. He has been with the team since 2022 when he held the position of executive sous chef.

Thompson Palm Springs announced the appointment of Quentin Garcia as its new executive chef. In his new role, Garcia will build on the concept of the property’s mainstay restaurant and lead all staff.

Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis announced the appointment of Ahmed Mohamed as executive banquet chef, bringing 25 years of culinary experience and knowledge to his new role as leader of the banquet kitchen team.

The Broadmoor announced the promotion of Justin Miller to executive chef. Miller has been a member of the property’s culinary team for the past 25 years,  first joining the resort as an extern, and after years of growth, became executive sous chef in 2017.

Ashley James has been appointed culinary director of the Beverly Hills Hotel, overseeing culinary operations including all restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining. James brings 30 years of experience to the position.

InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel announced the appointment of Sofia Vandaele as regional director of operations, luxury and lifestyle, NYC. In her role, she will lead the brand’s strategic direction.

KSL Resorts has added three new sales leaders to its growing team of hospitality industry professionals: Bryan Waltz as global sales director, Karen Hudson as global sales director, and John Carter as director of sales/central coast properties.

Encore has hired Poonam Mohan as chief information officer to leverage technology and support the company’s strategy to grow the customer experience. Mohan joins Encore after 21 years at American Airlines.

Cloud5 Communications announced the appointment of Anai Patel as its new chief financial officer. Patel will play a role in the company’s expansion and growth strategy. Patel spent nine years at Essentra PLC.
