Provenance Hotels has promoted Leslie Lew to vice president of revenue strategy for the company’s portfolio of independent hotels in Portland, Ore., Seattle and Tacoma Wash., Nashville, Tenn., and New Orleans, La.

San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino has named Marcelo Dante Filosi Bordenave as executive chef and director of food & beverage. With more than 20 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry, Dante comes from the JW Marriott Hotel Bogota, where he served as the executive chef and director of F&B.
Springer-Miller Systems (SMS), a provider of guest-centric hospitality and spa management systems based in Stowe, Vt., has named David Cox as senior director of support. David has more than 15 years of experience and previously led support organizations for iTradeNetwork, Solar Winds, and Symantec.
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai has appointed Colin Clark as general manager of the Hawaii property. Previously, Clark served as general manager at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach in Fla.
Marriott has named Scott Becque as director of sales and marketing for the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, which was renovated and reopened in fall 2016. With more than two decades of experience, Becque has most recently served as the director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights in N.J.
The Chanler at Cliff Walk, located in Newport, R.I., has promoted Lani Shufelt to general manager and chief operating officer. Shufelt, who has previously served as The Chanler’s marketing manager, will now oversee all day-to-day management of the hotel including staff, guest services, and marketing initiatives. The Chanler has also named Cherie’lin Toporowski as director of sales and marketing. Toporowski comes from Newport Hospitality, where she most recently held the position of program manager.
OBMI has announced the addition of four key staff members to its Miami office. OBMI has appointed Gottfried Schmidtke as building information modeling manager, Eduardo Gomez as project manager, Kevin Tenor as junior project manager and building information modeling specialist, and Marissa Howe as marketing coordinator. The company hopes to use its new hires to attract a new generation of tech-savvy creative talent.
Dream Hotel Group has appointed Jeff Lee as director of food & beverage. In this role, Lee will work on restaurant and bar concepts for the company and its brands: Dream Hotels, Time Hotels, The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels. With more than 20 years of culinary experience, Lee will focus most on menu development, kitchen design, and attaining sales and profitability goals.
