On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

SIXTY Hotels, featuring five hotels in New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles, has named Kevin Osterhaus as president. Osterhaus, with over 22 years of hospitality experience, most recently worked as the company’s executive vice president, operations for standard international.

Here’s a look at other notable comings and goings that took place this week:

Marriott International has appointed David Flueck as senior vice president, loyalty. In this role, Flueck will oversee Marriot’s loyalty program, which includes The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest.

Pacific Beach Hotel, located in Waikiki Beach and currently undergoing a $115 million redevelopment, has named six new appointments to its leadership team. The hotel has appointed Joseph Yamaokato as director of operations, Edward Manzo as director of food and beverage, Ryan Nomura as director of outlets, Alexandra Nagelvoort as assistant director of finance, Rhoderika Miranda as senior catering sales manager, and Leon Bolivar as marketing manager.

Hospitality Management has announced the promotion of Libby Shaw to vice president of human resources. In this role, she will be responsible for the administration and management of recruitment and staffing, benefits administration, supervise workers’ compensation and ongoing development and training.

AccorHotels has appointed Maud Bailly as chief digital officer. In her new role, Bailly will be head of the digital, distribution, sales, and information systems, and will be a member of the company’s executive committee.

Grande Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark have named Brad Lyles as director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Lyles will oversee all communications, marketing, and group sales initiatives to continue to attract travelers to both properties.

Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a collection of hotels and resorts, has named Tina Gerson as director of sales to Pelican Grand Resorts, located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In this role, Gerson will oversee all sales efforts for the hotel while working with the larger Noble House. Gerson comes from the Nobu Eden Roc Miami Beach, where she also worked as director of sales.

New Castle Hotel & Resorts has promoted of Alex Lugo to general manager of the Hilton Lexington Downtown in Lexington, Ky. Most recently, Lugo was the general manager for the Westin Jekyll Island in Jekyll Island, Ga.

John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts has promoted Patrick Blache to vice president of information technology. He previously served as corporate senior director of information technology for the company. In his new role, Blache will continue to guide the company’s IT strategy at the corporate and portfolio levels.

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, located in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., has hired Nicole Garza as associate director of events. With over ten years of hospitality experience, Garza joins the property from Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio where she was event sales manager.

New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a third-party management company and hotel developer, has named Kevin Runner, longtime Jekyll Island hotelier, as general manager of the Westin Jekyll Island.
