On the Move: This Week’s Comings and Goings

Kevin Dingle will rejoin Aimbridge Hospitality as the company’s senior vice president of development. Dingle previously worked with Aimbridge as director of development before working for Compass Lodging Advisors serving as the co-founder and principal for 13 years.

Here’s a look at other notable comings and goings that took place this week:

Generator has named Michelle Flagg vice president of development for North America as the group looks to build on its first U.S. opening in Miami. Flagg will lead the brand’s expansion in North America and play a role in the launching of WeLive, the new co-living brand from international startup WeWork.

Hilton has announced three new leadership appointments. Alan Roberts has been named global head of Embassy Suites, Rick Colling has been appointed vice president of brand performance, and Mark Nogal has assumed the position of global head of Curio.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has announced that Lauren Bucherie will serve in a newly created role as the brand’s director of music. Bucherie was previously the director of music and social programming at the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt, and in her new role she will develop live and recorded music experiences for guests, as well as book music and other live entertainment for all of Kimpton’s properties.

AMResorts, a subsidiary of Apple Leisure Group, has promoted Erica Doyne to vice president of marketing. In this executive position, Doyne will be responsible for leading PR strategies and play a key role on AMResorts’ stratefic task force to support sales goals, and drive new marketing and expansion opportunities.

Marc Bromley has been appointed general manager of Four Season Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. A 10-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Bromley recently served as the property’s resort manager since spring 2014.

Angel Fire Resort has announced the appointment of Spencer Weimar as the resort’s new director of marketing and promotions. In his new position, Weimar will be responsible for directing the marketing department and overseeing all promotions for Angel Fire Resort, Angel Fire Bike Park, and Angel Fire RV Resort.

Hyatt Regency Chicago has named Brian Kim as the mixologist for the new small plates restaurant and lounge, The Living Room. In this role, Kim will be responsible for customer satisfaction and play a key role in creating the cocktail menu.

Chesapeake Hospitality has announced an expansion to its leadership team that includes a newly promoted team member and three new hires. Jay Molitor joins Chesapeake as regional vice president of operations at Millennium Hotels. Deborah Chamberlin will now assume the position of regional vice president of operations with Janus Hotels and Resorts. Paul O’Connor joins the Chesapeake team as regional vice president of food & beverage operations, and Mike Long has been promoted to area director of the Hollywood Beach Complex.

First Hospitality Group has announced the hiring of Melissa Frank, Kyleigh Creech, and Jennifer Meyers to fill various sales and catering positions at three of its properties. Frank will serve as the new sales manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown, Creech will serve as the sales and catering coordinator at FHG’s Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-Downtown, and Meyers will serve as the director of sales at The Drake Oakbrook.
