In this role, she will oversee the sales and marketing efforts on behalf of the two hotels. She previously worked for Calgary Airport Hotels as senior sales manager.

Sabre Corporation has named Dana Jones senior vice president, new market development. She will continue to serve as chief marketing officer and senior vice president of solutions management for Sabre Airline Solutions.
Rob Stirling has been named director of sales and marketing at Cape Rey Carlsbad, a Hilton Resort. An industry veteran, he most recently played an instrumental role in the redevelopment, renovation, and repositioning of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island has appointed David Leffew the new director of food and beverage. He began working at the resort in 2014. Previously, he was general manager at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, N.J. Jacqueline Bassett has also joined the team as its new senior sales manager. She most recently was the national sales manager at Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine, Fla.
Dimitris Kosvogiannis has joined Meliá Hotels & Resorts as general manager of Meliá Braco Village in Jamaica. He has held various positions with companies around the world, including Spain, England, Greece, and the United States.
Suncadia, a Destination Hotel, has appointed Karen Erickson the new spa director of Glade Spring Spa. She has more than 15 years of experience in the spa and hospitality industry. She previously served as spa director at Nordstrom in Seattle, Wash.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has appointed San Francisco Bay Area hotel veteran John Hutar general manager of The Westin St. Francis. He most recently spent six years as general manager of Sofitel San Francisco Bay Hotel in Redwood City, Calif.
Courtyard Atlanta Alpharetta has announced Salvatore Capriola as its new general manager. He most recently served as general manager of Courtyard Atlanta Duluth/Gwinnett Place, where he guided restaurant and room renovations.
The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the appointments of Niklas Jonsson and Kevin Kamau as the new general managers of the Radisson Blue Hotel, Maputo in Mozambique and Radisson Blue Hotel, Lagos. Jonsson previously worked with the Radisson Blue Tala Bay Resort, Aqaba. Kamau joins the team from InterContinental Lagos.
