On June 2, Carlson Rezidor announced the appointment of Jeffrey Freund to senior vice president, midscale brands, Americas. Freund has been with the company for a number of years, serving as general manager in several locations, director of operations, and vice president, operations, owned and managed hotels.

Interstate Hotels & Resorts has named Stephen K. Miller senior vice president of development and acquisitions. Bringing nearly 30 years of experience to the role, Miller was most recently senior vice president of development at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Patrick Vyncke has been named director of acquisitions and development of HRI Lodging. He joins HRI Lodging after serving as director of acquisitions and development at CSM Corporation.
Riverhouse Hotel and Convention Center in Bend, Ore. has appointed Erick Trachsel as director of sales and Moe Elwefati as director of food and beverage. Trachsel previously served as director of sales at the DoubleTree Hotel. Elwefati joins Riverhouse after working as at the Hilton in Eugene, Ore. as director of food and beverage.
Sébastien Maingourd has been named general manager of the William Vale hotel in Brooklyn, N.Y. Maingourd joins the hotel with 20 years of international boutique, resort, and corporate branding experience. He most recently served as general manager of Hotel Christopher Villas and Spa in St. Barth’s.
Main Street Hospitality Group has named Lindsey Struck general manager of Hotel on North, located in Pittsfield, Mass. She previously worked as the director of rooms at the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster, Mass.
Robin Kirk has become principal and chief executive officer of Scout Hotel & Resort Management. He has been with the company since 2011, where previously served as president.
Arbor Lodging Partners has appointed Vamsi Bonthala as chief executive officer of Arbor Lodging Partners and Sheenal Patel as chief executive officer of NVN Hotels. Bonthala will also remain in his position as a managing principal of both Arbor Lodging Partners and NVN Hotels. Likewise, Patel will also retain his position as a managing principal of both NVN Hotels and Arbor Lodging Partners. Bonthala and Patel together founded both companies.
Zach Dallessandro has joined Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel as executive chef. Previously, Dallessandro worked at Loews Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C., where he served as executive chef/director of food and beverage.
Leslie Brown has been named catering sales manager at the Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, in Pine Mountain, Ga. She brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, and most recently served as conference services manager at Vail Resorts in Breckenridge, Colo.
Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas has named Emily Waddell director of sales. Before joining the new property, scheduled to open in Sept. 2015, she held positions at Hilton New York-Midtown and The Drake Hotel.
Erika Bauchrowitz has been appointed to the position of regional director of operations at Hotel Equities. She has previously held positions in hotel operations with Hyatt Hotels.
