CHARLOTTE, N.C.—ESA Management LLC, a subsidiary of Extended Stay America, Inc. announced on Sept. 25 the promotion of Mark Mahoney as the executive vice president of sales. Mr. Mahoney will be responsible for leading the company’s sales team to deliver positive financial results across the portfolio’s nearly 700 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Prior to joining Extended Stay America in 2011, Mahoney was the sales leader for Red Lion Hotels Corporation and the Marcus Corporations where he led sales teams in excess of 200 people. His base of industry knowledge and expertise are a result of his tenure in sales, general management and development roles at Boykin Management Company, MeriStar Hotels and Resorts, Hilton, Marriott, and Holiday Inn.
