JQH Hotels Announces New Revenue Optimization Team Members

caroldaveySPRINGFIELD, Mo.—John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts (JQH) announced on Oct. 6 the newest additions to its revenue optimization team. Carol Davey and Colleen Schuyler-Vinsand join as corporate directors of revenue optimization dedicated to the Hilton, IHG, Marriott and Starwood brands within the JQH national portfolio. They will report to Vickie Callahan, senior director of revenue optimization, JQH. JQH is the largest private, independent owner and manager of hotels in the United States.

“Carol and Colleen bring a wealth of multi-brand revenue management experience to JQH that we plan to leverage nationwide to ensure all hotel revenue streams are successfully maximized,” Callahan said.

Davey brings 17 years of expertise in revenue management and reservations to JQH, including with brands like Hilton, Starwood and Wyndham. Most recently, she served as regional director of revenue management for Interstate Hotels & Resorts. In her new position, Davey will work closely with the JQH regional directors of sales to ensure all hotel revenue streams are maximized with the right segments and through the right channels. She will focus on the company’s 36 Hilton branded properties, including Embassy Suites, Hampton, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Homewood Suites.

ColleenSchuyler-Vinsand served as regional director of revenue management for Interstate Hotels & Resorts prior to joining JQH. Over her 30 years in the hospitality industry, she has held key leadership positions within the sales and revenue management arena, including with Marriott Corp., Sunstone Hospitality Management and Vail Resorts Inc. Schuyler-Vinsand brings knowledge of the various regions of the United States, having lived and/or worked across the country, including in Hawaii. Her career also includes time in Moscow. In her new role, she will provide leadership support to JQH’s regional directors of sales for the 36 IHG, Marriott and Starwood branded hotels spanning the Courtyard, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Marriott, Renaissance, Residence Inn and Sheraton properties.
