Hyatt Regency Austin Announces ‘Pints & Poses’ Yoga

AUSTIN, Texas—Hyatt Regency Austin, located on the shores of Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin, has announced the “Pints & Poses” yoga series for guests and local residents.

Beginning in April, the hotel will host a complimentary yoga class every second Monday of each month. The classes will be led by Austin yogi Ferny Barcelo, from Six Elephants Yoga, and she will be assisted by back-up instructor Zuzu Perkal, from Blackbird Fitness.

The one-hour class will be held in the Foothills Ballroom, which provides views of Lady Bird Lake and skyline views of downtown Austin from the hotel’s 17th floor. It will feature a relaxing smooth Vinyasa flow yoga, and guests are encouraged to bring their own mats.

Following the class, participants will receive a coupon for a complimentary draft beer at Hyatt Regency Austin’s Marker 10 bar. Freshly squeezed juice and citrus-infused water will also be available throughout the event.

“We are very excited to announce the ‘Pints & Poses’ yoga series for our guests and the local Austin community,” said Michael Murphy, general manager of Hyatt Regency Austin. “This series will provide a great way for locals to take part in some of the city’s best yoga, enjoy the best local beers, and take in the stunning Austin skyline views from our Foothills Ballroom.”

The “Pints & Poses” series will kick-off on Monday, April 11 with the class taking place between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It will continue at the same time every second Monday of each month. Event attendees will receive validated parking when they park in the hotel’s parking garage.
