ROCHESTER, New York—Essex Hotel Management, LLC has welcomed back industry veteran Richard Cambeis and added him to its expanding corporate team. In his new role as topline specialist, Cambeis assists the operations and revenue management teams to drive performance across the hotel portfolio. He reports directly to Cheryl Huhn, Essex’s director of revenue and sales strategy.
Cambeis is a seasoned hotel general manager with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he served as the general manager of the Hampton Inn and Suites in Lake Placid, NY, that Essex operates. Under his leadership, the property opened its doors successfully and emerged as the market leader in the area.
Known for his motivational and inspiring leadership style, Cambeis has a solid track record of driving revenue growth and improving guest satisfaction scores. His hands-on approach to hotel management and focus on team collaboration are set to be significant assets in his new role.
