Embassy Suites Milwaukee Brookfield Opens After $10 Million Revamp

BROOKFIELD, Wis.—Embassy Suites by Hilton has announced the opening of Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield—the brand’s first property in Wisconsin—following a $10 million transformation. Formerly Brookfield Suites Hotel and Convention Center, the hotel is owned by Brookfield Hotel Limited Partnership and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality.

Located just west of downtown Milwaukee, and 17 miles northwest of General Mitchell International Airport, the 203-suite hotel off of Interstate 94 offers access to Miller Park, Milwaukee Zoo, Wisconsin State Fair Grounds, and the thriving business and suburban communities of Brookfield, Waukesha and Wauwatosa.

“We’re thrilled to expand our brand presence into Wisconsin, as the bustling Milwaukee region provides an ideal setting for our all-suite, full-service hotel brand,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Embassy Suites by Hilton. “The magnificent renovations coupled with our world-renowned amenities make Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield a desirable option for business and leisure travelers.”

Upon entering its bright five-story atrium featuring unique waterfalls and vibrant foliage, guests are drawn in by the vast natural lighting and contemporary design details of Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield. With natural flowing color tones inspired by local historical features, the hotel offers travelers a comfortable respite from business and leisure pursuits.

The hotel offers the brand’s signature amenities, including its free made-to-order breakfast and two-hour complimentary Evening Reception with snacks and beverages. Hanna’s Grill – named after the wife of a hotel owner, serves American cuisine including local Wisconsin specialties, such as Bertrand’s burger and Hanna’s steak salad. Bertrand’s, located in the atrium of the hotel, is designed with wood from northern Wisconsin. It offers traditional and creative cocktail creations, along with appetizers and light bites.

Each two-room suite has a living room and separate bedroom, plus a small kitchen with mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and a selection of gourmet coffee and teas from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. With a queen-sized sofa bed, well-lit workstation, complimentary Wi-Fi and two HDTVs, each suite is perfect for work and family stays. Certain upgraded suites have nearly 1,200 square feet of space, a whirlpool tub and an eight-seat conference table.

“From its contemporary design to its spacious suites, our completely transformed hotel is ready to offer guests a unique choice for any lodging or meeting need,” said Amy Grunwald, general manager, Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield. “Embassy Suites by Hilton is synonymous with hospitality, and this hotel is a superb addition to the growing Milwaukee market.”

The renovation added two new meeting rooms to the hotel, which now offers more than 6,000 square feet of business meeting, ballroom and banquet space for conferences, weddings, and other special events. Like in the hotel’s atrium, the meeting facilities are enhanced by extensive natural light. Each completely-renovated room has been renamed to recognize branches of the U.S. military.

After a busy day, guests may relax at the hotel’s indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna; or revitalize at the 24-hour fitness center featuring brand new Precor Equipment and free weights. In addition, guests may stop by the newly-designed 24-hour convenience store for snacks, beverages, and travel essentials.
