Dual-Branded IHG Midtown Atlanta Hotel Completes Revamp

ATLANTA—Spire Hospitality and InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) have announced the completion of the Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites Midtown Atlanta hotel renovation. As the first dual-branded property for the two IHG brands, the hotel will cater to travelers coming to the Atlanta area whether for an overnight or long-term stay.

The 360-room Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Midtown and 102-room Staybridge Suites Atlanta-Midtown hotel is debuting in a single midtown Atlanta building after a dramatic renovation. The property unveils brand new guestrooms and public spaces including a fitness center, business center, outdoor pool with barbecue grills and fire pits, and multiple restaurants. With many shared amenities between the two brands, the hotel provides a unique offer to both business and leisure travelers.

The Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Midtown is the first hotel to introduce the brand’s innovative guestroom of the future—the WorkLife room. The guestroom features a unique angled bed which provides a great night’s rest and creates useable space, a multi-purpose nook for relaxing, dining or even informal meetings, a desk for focused work, integrated power throughout and abundant lighting. Additionally, the hotel boasts 31,000 square feet of meeting space spread across 17 rooms. The meeting space is designed to accommodate a variety of events and includes the SKY room which features spectacular panoramic views of Atlanta. Guests can also enjoy two on-site restaurants, FIRST offerings American cuisine with a southern twist and the lobby bar and restaurant.

The Staybridge Suites Atlanta-Midtown hotel provides guests staying for weeks or months at a time with home-like and spacious studio or one-bedroom suites located on the top six floors of the hotel with views of downtown Atlanta. Guests can enjoy a complimentary daily hot breakfast buffet and evening reception, daily housekeeping, guest laundry room, fitness center, 24-hour business center and outdoor living room with barbecue and fire pit.
