CoStar: U.S. Hotel Performance Increases, Comparisons Stay Mixed

WASHINGTON—U.S. hotel performance increased from the previous week, while year-over-year comparisons remained mixed, according to CoStar’s latest data through Jan. 13, 2024.

Occupancy: 53.3 percent (down 2.8 percent)
ADR: $153.84 (up 6.3 percent)
RevPAR: $81.96 (down 3.3 percent)

Among the Top 25 Markets, Las Vegas saw the largest year-over-year increases in each of the three key performance metrics: occupancy (up 29.0 percent to 79.8 percent), ADR (up 77.3 percent to $283.74), and RevPAR (up 128.8 percent to $226.34). The market’s performance was helped by the Consumer Electronics Show.

The steepest RevPAR declines were seen in Atlanta (down 31.1 percent to $64.34) and Los Angeles (down 16.6 percent to $112.60).
