AH&LA Praises Cybersecurity Framework from White House

Today, AH&LA and several other industry advocacy and trade associations sent a letter to the White House that outlines the steps they are taking to inform and prepare their members on the challenges of cybersecurity and what is being done to better protect lodging and other industries. The letter, addressed to Michael Daniel, special assistant to the president and cybersecurity coordinator, applauds the administration for supporting a dynamic and flexible approach to addressing cybersecurity risk. On May 22, Daniel posted a blog, Assessing Cybersecurity Regulations, which sends businesses and other stakeholders an important message that the Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity should remain collaborative, voluntary, and innovative over the long term. Read the full letter over at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
