Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch Announces New Hires

SARATOGA, Wyo.—The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch, a Preferred Boutique Hotel and Wyoming’s only dual-endorsed ORVIS fly-fishing and wing shooting lodge, has announced the appointment of several new team members for the 2014 summer season.

New additions to The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch team hail from around the country, from Chicago to New York City.

With a strong background in guided fly-fishing and big game hunting, Matt Anderson is joining the Ranch team as activities director. Prior to the Ranch, he served as a guide for individuals, a lodge, a fly shop and most recently, Anderson helped run the activities, and fishing and hunting programs for a luxury shared ranch community.

Joining the Ranch team as executive sous chef is Dan Grunbeck. Grunbeck has worked at several high-profile hotels and restaurants, including The Little Nell in Aspen, Colo., and the Belfair, a platinum club on Hilton Head, S.C.

Chris Griffith has been appointed Brush Creek Ranch’s front of house manager. Prior to the Ranch, Griffith worked at the Westin in Austin, Texas. He has 24 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, specializing in bartending.

Joining the team as director of services is Andrew Harrell. Harrell has an extensive background in hospitality including experience in front desk and housekeeping in full-service lifestyle and luxury boutique hotels in the Los Angeles and Chicago markets.

Robert Vucsko is joining the team at Brush Creek Ranch as director of engineering. Vucsko has been with White Lodging since 2011, as engineering personnel. Prior to the Ranch, he managed the maintenance crew at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Omaha, Neb., where he helped maintain the busy downtown hotel while the city hosted the 2013 College World Series, the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials and Warren Buffett’s yearly stock-holder meetings.

Anne Heissenbuttel has been named front office manager. Prior to coming to the Ranch, Heissenbuttel served as a recruiting coordinator at Citadel, a hedge fund in Chicago.
