Salute Wine Bar Opens at Rochester Marriott

ROCHESTER, Minn.—The Rochester Marriott and the Kahler Hospitality Group have announce the grand opening of Salute Wine Bar and More as the newest addition to the portfolio of downtown dining experiences. Italian born Executive Chef Pasquale Presa presents authentic dishes in a modern way. Utilizing local produce and creative combinations, Chef Presa pairs heart healthy dishes with fragrant wines.

“Wine enthusiasts will have a new venue to sample, savor, and share wines from around the world,” said Scott Mauer, general manager of the Rochester Marriott Mayo Clinic Area. “Salute offers a unique ambience, including beautifully crafted Amish tables and wine cabinets in the private dining room.”

The private dining room will host the dinner club functions as well as be available to book for private occasions. The patio gives guests’ Salute experience a breath of fresh air in downtown Rochester’s Peace Plaza.

Complimentary wine tasting is available daily in Salute’s Cantina as well as monthly classes in wine education and pairing. The Cantina offers the chef’s selection of wines to taste daily from a barrel, a selection of imported olives, and a delicatessen with fresh sandwiches and to-go lunch options.

In addition to the restaurant dining rooms, Salute’s Italian Market affords imported products from Italy and Little Italy in New York for Rochester residents and visitors alike to enjoy. “We want the great options we have to be available to everyone,” said Chef Pasquale Presa, managing director of food and beverage operations for the Kahler Hospitality Group.
