DENVER—Inspirato has announced that Jennifer Fox, president of FRHI Hotels & Resorts, International Division and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, has been named to the company’s board of directors. Fox has been president of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts since 2011. She also holds the role of president, International Division for FRHI Hotels & Resorts (FRHI), the parent company of Fairmont and its sister-brands, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.
“We’ve enjoyed a very long and successful history with Fairmont and have always admired the brand,” said Brad Handler, co-founder and chairman of Inspirato. “When an opportunity came up to add to the board, it made sense to look to Fairmont and their senior leaders. After a few conversations with Jennifer, it was clear she would be an excellent addition to our team.”
Fox is coming to Inspirato with more than 25 years of experience in the luxury, resort, and business segments of the hospitality industry, with an extensive background in hotel operations, brand development, marketing, and hotel brand and market repositioning. She also has experience as a general manager, having run some of the finest luxury hotels and resorts in the world, including the InterContinental Hong Kong, which she rebranded from the Regent, and the Orchid at Mauna Lani (now a Fairmont), which she rebranded from Ritz Carlton.
Prior to joining FRHI, Fox spent 10 years at InterContinental Hotels Group, where she was chief operating officer responsible for operations, financial performance, talent management, and service delivery for all IHG brands of owned, managed and leased hotels across more than 20 countries spanning Europe, North Africa, and Russia. She has lived and worked in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia, and has developed a global network of luxury and industry related contacts, including strong connections in the media, owner, and investment communities.

The Inspirato board currently includes Brad Handler, founder and chairman of the board of Inspirato; Brent Handler, founder and CEO of Inspirato; Ted Schlein, partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and Todd Chaffee, partner at Institutional Venture Partners, both representatives of Inspirato investors; as well as Scot Sellers, retired CEO of Archstone. In her new role with Inspirato, Fox will work alongside her fellow board members to ensure an exceptional member experience.
