ATLANTA—Hunter Hotel Advisors announced that they represented an institutional investor in the sale of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hunt Valley Baltimore for $20 million. The new owner plans to spend over $6 million to completely renovate the 223-suite hotel built in 1985 and updated in 2010.
The strong performing Hilton asset is a natural fit for the owner’s portfolio which predominantly represents Marriott and Hilton brands in the Middle Atlantic. Significant revenue gains are expected post-renovation through increased rate and occupancy. The Embassy Suites is located on Baltimore’s busy Interstate 83 Corridor. Hunter Hotel Advisors is the nation’s premier hospitality investment firm for clients ranging from REITs and private equity firms to regional hotel owners. Since January 2015, Hunter has sold over $1.5 billion in single assets and portfolio transactions.
