Several hotel companies won honors in the recently announced 2019 Elliott Advocacy Readers’ Choice Customer Service Awards, an annual recognition of companies that offer outstanding customer support and service.
Winners of the award, now in its 14th year, are nominated and voted on by readers of Elliott Advocacy, a consumer advocacy site. The companies span 16 categories ranging from airlines to wireless service providers.
“The Readers’ Choice Awards answer every consumer’s basic question,” said Christopher Elliott, founder of Elliott Advocacy. “Which company is the best?”
Elliott Advocacy is a nonprofit consumer advocacy site that aims to help consumers to solve their problems and helps those who can’t. For 2019, the Elliott Readers’ Choice Customer Service Awards added two new categories: apparel and luggage.

Balloting for the 2018 Elliott Readers’ Choice Customer Service Awards was conducted from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2018. This year’s awards were sponsored by Allianz Travel Insurance, Boingo, Insuremyrentalcar.com, and Southwest Airlines.
