Coral Hospitality Completes Renovation of Two Hotels

ATLANTA, Ga.—Coral Hospitality has announced the completion of an $8 million renovation program at two of their six managed Georgia State Lodge properties. Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa and Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club are introducing extensive redesigns, upgrades and additions as summer winds down and the fall travel season approaches. Both properties also today announced the launch of a new “Rediscover Georgia” package, inviting locals and travelers alike to experience the state’s remarkable outdoor adventure activities, including fishing, boating, golfing, horseback riding, biking, and hiking.

Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in north Georgia, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa boasts 102 lodge guest rooms, 32 cottage guest rooms, and a deluxe spa suite. Coral Hospitality, has completely refreshed each guest room with new furnishings, wall coverings, lighting, upgraded linens, and remodeled bathrooms. The eight cottages on property have been outfitted with new wall coverings, carpeting, lighting, new bathroom tile, and classic crown molding. Additionally, Brasstown’s 14,000+ square feet of meeting and event space has been upgraded with new technology, sound systems, carpeting, social seating and lighting.

Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club, located in Cordele, Ga., is a beautiful, newly restored lakeside retreat. The resort is equipped with 14 guest rooms in its main lodge, 64 villa guest rooms, and 10 cabins. The property’s renovation incorporates cool colors and soft finishes in the guest rooms, in addition to new furnishings, wall coverings, carpeting, lighting and upgraded linens. Lake Blackshear’s common areas also underwent major renovations, including the lobby, restaurant, and 12,000+ square feet of meeting and event space.
