In recent days, Apple Maps has started to integrate reviews from TripAdvisor and Booking.com on select hotel listings, according to a post on MacRumors. Prior to this move, Apple’s in-house app only integrated customer reviews from Yelp. It remains unclear how Apple Maps determines which reviews to display, from Yelp, TripAdvisor, or Booking.com, for each hotel listing. The Apple Maps acknowledgements page has not been updated to reflect that it is now sourcing from TripAdvisor and Booking.com, citing only Yelp as its data partner for reviews.
