Interstate Hotels & Resorts appointed Andrew Jordan as chief marketing officer. In his new position, Jordan will be responsible for leading sales, marketing, revenue management, e-commerce, and distribution. Andrew joins Interstate from Adeptus Health, where he led marketing, sales, and communications as the company’s CMO, contributing to consecutive years of rapid growth. Throughout his 30-year career, Jordan held leadership roles with Club Med, Wyndham International, and Carlson Restaurants.

Red Roof added two industry professionals with 50 years of combined hospitality experience to the company’s development team: Joe Luck will cover west coast operations as regional vice president of franchise sales and development and Tom Williams, previously senior account manager for VENZA, will now serve as franchise development director for hotels in Florida and Louisiana.
As the new vice president of global sales for Choice Hotels International, Chad Fletcher will support growing sales strategies and business travelers, as well as maintain relationships with corporate clients. Fletcher joins Choice from the Avis Budget Group where he served as president of commercial sales, North America.
NH Hotel Group welcomes new executives to the development team to grow the company’s portfolio: Laia Lahoz has been named chief assets and development officer responsible for the company’s expansion; Luis Arsuaga will assist in growing NH Hotel Group’s portfolio as senior vice president; and Jesús Arnedo will boost operations in southern Europe as development and asset director.
Suzanna Sanders will be responsible for development and renovation plans as vice president of design and construction for Hospitality Ventures Management Group. Sanders has worked more than 25 years in hospitality, most recently spending more than a decade with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.
With over a decade of revenue growth experience, Cassie Bond will oversee the strategic direction of Chesapeake Hospitality’s portfolio as regional vice president of revenue management. Bond joined Chesapeake in 2008 and most recently served as senior regional director of revenue management.
Michael Fruin will lead franchise operations and business consultants as regional vice president of franchise services in the Northeast region for Choice Hotels International. Prior to Choice, Fruin served as senior vice president of real estate development for Extended Stay America.
Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) added Doug Rollins as a regional vice president, U.S. South. He will lead and oversee sales teams in Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Orlando. Rollins previously served for 17 years as vice president of sales and marketing for Chateau Élan Winery & Resort in Georgia, an ALHI member hotel.
Benchmark named Nour Asfari area director of revenue. Bringing more than a decade of hospitality experience to her new role, Asfari will be based in the company’s Orlando office. Most recently she served as revenue management consultant, overseeing a group of 10 hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals.
Mark Roche-Garland will oversee daily hotel operations and a team of 600 employees as general manager of Omni Shoreham Hotel. Roche-Garland spent 19 years with The Doyle Collection, where he repositioned brand efforts and worked in regions including Boston, Ireland, and England.
Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center has appointed Tushaar Agrawal as hotel manager, where he will oversee operational departments for the property. Agrawal’s 11 years of hospitality experience began when he joined Marriott International in 2007 as senior manager of corporate development finance.
JQH promoted Nigel Cossey to general manager at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Allen, Texas. Cossey has more than 20 years of hospitality experience, specializing in food and beverage operations. Most recently, he served as assistant general manager at JQH’s Embassy Suites by Hilton San Marcos Hotel in Texas.
Located on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Hotel Contessa added Nathan DeWindt as director of operations. Prior to joining the Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property, DeWindt worked as director of front office for Grand Pacific Resorts and held assistant and general manager positions across a range of hospitality brands.
Teresa Winfield will bring her diverse background of northwestern region experience to Semiahmoo Resort, Golf, and Spa as associate director of sales. Winfield’s responsibilities range from engaging the sales team to booking large-scale events and experiential retreats, including food and beverage offerings.
Kathleen Shea is the new vice president of sales and marketing for Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod and the Inn at Perry Cabin on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. In this newly-created role, Shea will be responsible for driving awareness, market share, and sales for the hotels.
Prince Waikiki appointed Joseph Almoguera as executive chef. In his new role, Chef Almoguera will oversee all kitchen operations for the property’s three dining establishments: 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar, Hinana Bar, and Bird of Paradise Restaurant. He has led teams at Prince Resorts since 2013, and his culinary career spans 20 years.
