HOUSTON—Benchmark Hospitality International, a hospitality management company, has announced that The Chattanoogan, a Benchmark Hotel located in Chattanooga, Tenn., has completed the renovations of its 25,000 square-foot meeting and event facilities. The refurbishment includes the addition of a new glass tile entry, new floor and wall coverings, revitalized acoustical wall panels and seating in the conference center, and the enhancement of refreshment islands. Additional renovations included enhanced lighting and the installation of a new cyber café with charging stations and seating. Artech Design Group, a full-service architectural and interior design services company based in Chattanooga, oversaw all interior design work for the renovations.
“As soon as guests enter our newly renovated meeting space at The Chattanoogan,” said Tom Cupo, regional managing director, “they are greeted with an exquisite glass tile wall and new slate floor, hearkening improvements to come as they move through the conference center. We are very excited about these enhancements and are pleased to welcome our guests to the beautifully renovated space.”
Design treatments to the space come in a palette of blue, brown, gold, and red. Select customized carpets replicate scenes from the historic city, including rolling hills and flowing patterns resembling the Tennessee River. Wall coverings are in soft shades of neutral tones and grays offset with a variety of subtle patterns.
All of The Chattanoogan’s 20 meeting rooms, including the 16-seat circular boardroom and amphitheater with seating for 85, offer complete networking capabilities and high-speed wireless Internet.
