CARMEL, Calif.—Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club in Carmel Valley, Calif., re-opened this week following a three-year closure and $28 million renovation. With a renewed focus on family-friendly amenities and group facilities, the property has been refreshed and repositioned to offer family-friendly accommodations.
“We are thrilled to show off the results of Quail Lodge’s makeover and introduce a new resort concept to the region,” said Sarah Cruse, general manager of Quail Lodge and Golf Club. “The refreshed Quail Lodge offers beautifully updated rooms and facilities at very attractive rates. The new and improved resort offers the best value on the Monterey Peninsula without sacrificing the comfort and style that our guests are seeking.”
Santa Monica-based Barry Design Associates was responsible for the new design. All guestrooms, meeting, and public spaces feature a look inspired by historic California ranch and Spanish colonial design elements. Each guestroom offers a private deck or patio and other guest suites also offer fireplaces.
The new Quail Lodge will also reintroduce enhanced meeting facilities with 6,500 square feet of flexible space including six conference rooms, banquet facilities for up to 200 guests, smaller breakout suites, and tents for garden parties, weddings, and receptions, which can cater to 600 guests.
