SAINT LOUIS—St. Louis-based hotel owner, operator and developer, Midas Hospitality, LLC announced the groundbreaking of a new, 97-room Candlewood Suites in Greenville, SC. The hotel is expected to open in the third quarter of 2013.
In an announcement, David Robert, president & principal of Midas Hospitality, LLC, states, “We are excited to add the Candlewood Suites – Greenville, SC to the Midas Hospitality family.” Robert adds, “The addition of the Candlewood Suites – Greenville to the Midas hotel portfolio further reinforces our aggressive, yet strategic, company growth.”
The hotel will offer complimentary high-speed Internet access, free local phone calls, free on-site guest laundry, and a 24-hour fitness center. Unique to Candlewood Suites, guests can also take advantage of the Candlewood Cupboard, where a variety of beverages, breakfast items, snacks, frozen entrees, and sundries will be available for purchase on the honor system at any time and where guests can enjoy complimentary freshly brewed coffee. Additionally, guests of the Candlewood Suites can visit the free Lending Library, where movies and music will be available for use in guestrooms, which all feature a DVD and CD player.
Guestrooms at the Candlewood Suites – Greenville, SC feature studio or one-bedroom suite floor plans with a full kitchen, in-room recliner, workspace with desk chair, and overhead lighting. Each of the hotel’s 83 guest suites will feature the brand’s Comforts of Home Bedding Collection with upgraded mattresses and box spring sets, mattress topper, duvet inserts and poly-cotton covers, 250-thread count micro-check sateen sheets, triple sheeting, contemporary cotton estate blankets, and the choice of three upgraded pillow types in firm, medium, and feather.
