Marriott/Starwood Merger Cleared by DOJ and FTC

The first regulatory hurdle for the Marriott/Starwood merger was cleared on Monday when the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission did not challenge the deal under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
