BETHESDA, Md.—Marriott International, Inc. announced on Oct. 1 the appointment of Julius Robinson to vice president for the Autograph Collection, the company’s exclusive portfolio of independent hotels. In his role, Robinson’s leadership will drive, define, and execute global strategy for Autograph Collection. He will also play an integral role in the future development and global growth of the portfolio around the world.
Robinson comes to Autograph Collection as a seasoned hotelier with knowledge of revenue management, sales, business development, and operations. He brings more than twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry and will serve as an advocate for the independent hotel owner and manager within the company’s luxury and lifestyle brand division. Most recently, Robinson served as vice president of the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, a position which he held for over three years. In addition to his leadership in the company’s brand organization, he has held senior executive roles in global sales and operations.
