Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort Completes $6 Million Enhancement Project

TUCSON, Ariz.—The Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort announced the completion of a multi-million dollar enhancement project. Updates include a redesigned lobby and Conquistador Lobby Lounge, as well as a new Southwestern restaurant, an age-exclusive retreat, 16 resurfaced tennis courts and the Executive Conference Center at Hilton Tucson El Conquistador. The renovation is part of a three-year, $3 billion plan of significant property renovations currently underway across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide.

“We are very pleased to offer guests attractive new public spaces including a peaceful retreat as well as a new restaurant concept and a premier conference center,” said Lynn Ericksen, general manager, Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort, in an announcement. “Our resort has long been regarded as one of the top destination for business and leisure travelers in the area, and with the new enhancements we will continue to provide an exceptional guest experience.”

The resort’s lobby has been transformed into a comfortable social gathering place complete with western-inspired accents and art work. Located in the lobby is the revitalized El Conquistador Lounge serving signature cocktails and light fare. The centerpiece of the area is a new circular sitting area.

Adjacent to the lobby are two signature restaurants, including the new Southwestern restaurant, Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails serving innovative regional fare. Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails features a remodeled low-key dining room with a bar and outdoor seating space overlooking the resort’s pool and the surrounding mountains. The resort’s Sundance Café offering indoor and outdoor dining was also revitalized with new furnishings and a more modern décor.

As part of the enhancement project, Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort also unveiled a new age-restricted, secluded Acacia retreat. Set among the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert within the resort’s casita village, Acacia offers private casitas, an exclusive pool and upgraded amenities. Each Acacia Casita is located poolside and offers private patios.

Other additions to the resort include the area’s only executive conference center. Opened earlier this year, the Executive Conference Center at Hilton Tucson El Conquistador provides eight meeting rooms including one permanent boardroom with a built-in 70 inch LED television for presentations. The Conference Center offers a total meeting environment with specifically designed infrastructure and equipment to support productive meetings. Most meeting rooms will feature windows and some will offer balconies with views of the Catalina Mountains. In addition, the resort’s 16 tennis courts have all been completely resurfaced.
