MARCO ISLAND, Fla.—Debuting January 2017, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will welcome returning and new guests to its 310 guestrooms and suites. Following a $40 million renovation, the South Florida hotel will offer a revamped arrival experience in the lobby and upgraded accommodations, all with expanded gulf-front views throughout the property.
As part of this substantial re-do, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will introduce all-new luxury family suites with connecting room options on the rooftop level as well as poolside suites with verandas. The hotel’s newly designed outdoor pool features hand-crafted tiling imported from Italy, and the same artisan-quality tile was used in the enhancement of the resort’s spa.
Finally, completing this extensive renovation is the introduction of The Deck at 560 Bar & Restaurant, an expansive indoor/outdoor space featuring a rare Brazilian hardwood deck that serves as a design focal point for the property. A corresponding grab-and-go outlet, 560 Market, will also be unveiled.
“The entire staff of the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa is excited to reveal the grand transformation of this beloved gulf-front hotel,” said Andrea Olshan, CEO of Olshan Properties. “The upgrades were specially crafted in a way that intertwines sensory-driven luxury and modern conveniences, while maintaining the property’s indelible charm and welcoming spirit.”
Drawing inspiration from its gulf-front backdrop, the 11-story resort will boast a modern and clean design, marrying the neutral tones from its surrounding landscapes and nautical-inspired accents.
Accommodations have been upgraded to include 16 newly designed luxury rooftop suites with waterfront views and connecting room options, as well as seven remodeled poolside suites with spacious verandas and private garden living space.
Guests and locals will be able to experience a completely reimagined restaurant concept, The Deck at 560 Bar & Restaurant. Boasting 174 indoor dining seats and 102 outdoor seats with gulf-front views, the new dining destination will focus on local and sustainable seafood and produce offerings, rotating with seasonal ingredients. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Deck at 560 will provide a beach-chic atmosphere.
Corresponding to The Deck at 560, the property will launch a new grab-and-go concept—560 Market. The market will feature an Illy coffee bar as well as a variety of gourmet sandwiches and salads, baked flatbread and pizzas, ice cream, and an assortment of candy-by-the-pound. As guests relax on the beach, The Gulf Cart—a mobile snack and beverage cart—will deliver light bites and cocktails.
Adding to the variety of upgrades to the property, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa’s outdoor public spaces will be re-envisioned. Guests can relax by the redesigned resort pool with poolside food and bar service provided by The Deck at 560 Bar & Restaurant. The property will also feature fire pits accompanied by furniture.
For those seeking picturesque outdoor space for receptions, weddings and events, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will be expanding and upgrading its 15,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces. The new beachfront event lawn, debuting fall 2017, will offer an unobstructed view of the beach waves. The lawn event space is also ideal for group events or meeting breakout sessions. In addition to the upgraded and expanded outdoor meeting space, the property will also unveil a redecorated 5,200-square-foot grand ballroom.
The Spa at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort will reopen with a new spa menu featuring a variety of body and facial treatments, massages, and nail services. Additionally, spa visitors are encouraged to immerse in one of its full-day spa packages.
