First Nobu Hotel in Asia Opens at City of Dreams Manila

MANILA, Philippines—The first Nobu Hotel in Asia has officially opened at City of Dreams Manila, Melco Crown Entertainment’s new integrated casino resort at Entertainment City, Manila.

Championed by Nobu Hospitality founding partners chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, the 321-room boutique hotel delivers a celebrity-inspired and “fun-luxury” experience. This marks the second worldwide Nobu Hotel to open as part of Nobu Hospitality’s nine-hotel portfolio.

“We are convinced that the development of highly-exclusive, luxury lifestyle offerings is a key driver in inspiring growing numbers of the region’s luxury-leisure destination seekers to visit Manila and the Philippines,” said Clarence Chung, chairman of Melco Crown (Philippines) Resorts Corporation.

“Our exciting mix of celebrity-inspired sophisticated style, bespoke luxury hospitality, and outstanding Nobu-inspired cuisine really does offer something totally unique to Asia’s discerningly stylish, trendsetting guests who are looking for the ultimate luxury-lifestyle experience,” added Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality.
