Westerville, Ohio—Exceptional Innovation, a global provider of guest-facing technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has launched a new web-based, staff-facing application to streamline guestroom housekeeping, maintenance, and room replenishment processes.
The company says that the Guest Services Management (GSM) platform is designed to reduce operational costs and improve staff efficiency for hoteliers. The web-based application—for use on phones, tablets, laptops, or PCs—allows hotel staff to view the hotel dashboard and manage their scheduled daily tasks more effectively and efficiently.
The GSM dashboard provides the hotel with a visual display of room status to aid in workflow management and decision making for critical guest needs such as maintenance issues or housekeeping status. The company says that through PMS integration, the system gives staff the information they need including room status, occupancy, and scheduled checkout data points, as well as automatically charging for mini-bar replenishment items.

GSM is powered by the iQx platform and its intelligent functionality is used across multiple iQ solutions. The system can be used as a standalone application or added as a module to the iQ in-room solution with the need for additional hardware.
