DiamondRock Names New VP, Acquisitions and Investments

BETHESDA, Md.—DiamondRock Hospitality has announced that Dustin Resnick has joined the company as vice president, acquisitions and investments, effective immediately. In this role, Resnick will be responsible for sourcing and executing new acquisitions for the company and will play a critical role in strategic market analysis. He will report directly to Troy Furbay, DiamondRock’s chief investment officer.

Resnick, who has more than 10 years of hotel and real estate experience, most recently served as senior director of acquisitions and development at Hersha Hospitality Trust. In this role, he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and closing of lodging acquisitions. Prior to Hersha, he served as vice president of investment sales with MK Hotels, a hotel real estate brokerage firm, where he facilitated over $550 million of hospitality transactions.
