Chicago Moves to Eliminate Airbnb from Single-Family Home Neighborhoods

    Chicago politicians are moving to eliminate Airbnb and like-services from neighborhoods with primarily single-family homes. Alderman Pat O’Connor says that people who have purchased home in such areas have done so without the expectation that someone would open a ‘motel’ every weekend. Alternately, an Airbnb spokesman says that thousands of people across the city depend on home-sharing for additional income. Read more here.
